Aloha Beautiful Woman!
Welcome to the second video of our Sacred Feminine Yoga Series: Harnessing our Womb Creativity.
The womb is the centre of a woman’s body. As we reclaim our connection with this centre, we learn how to harness its powers of creativity, birth, transformation, death, rebirth, sexuality and sensuality. We learn how to clear stagnation in the womb, and release past experiences and emotions so that we can cultivate more feminine vitality in our bodies, hearts and minds.
When you start to befriend your womb and live from Her as your centre, Her wisdom will be your greatest ally and friend in your life. She will support you in creating your wildest dreams, upholding your boundaries with kindness and grace, and hold you in the deepest love as you shed your many skins over and over again.
The power of the Womb can be understood in this beautiful Native American mythological story:
The Creator gathered all of Creation and said:
“ I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realisation that they create their own reality.”
The eagle said, “Give it to me. I will take it to the moon.”
The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”
The salmon said, “ I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.”
The Creator said, “No. They will go there too.”
The buffalo said, “ I will bury it on the Great Plains.”
The Creator said, “ They will cut into the skin of the earth and find it there.”
Grandmother Mole, Who lives in the Breast of Mother Earth, and who has no Physical eyes but sees with spiritual eyes, said,
“Put it inside them.”
And the Creator said, “ It is Done.”
So roll your mat out, find your seat…and enjoy!
Journal Questions
If you’re wanting to deepen your connection to your womb, journal the following questions after your practice:
1. What arose for me as I felt into my womb? What sensations, emotions and images arose for me?
2. What is my relationship to my creativity and sensuality? Am I comfortable with receiving?
3. If your womb could give you a message, what would she say?
4. What action do you need to take to nourish your womb and ovarian energy? How can you care for your womb in your daily life?
